An Imran Khan supporter answers pseudo-intellectuals

Pseudo-intellectuals attempt to be over analytical which results in them following their biased reasoning so sternly that they overlook the most obvious things. These twitter born pseudo-intellectuals turn blind to qualities like a person's intentions, will power and integrity (which explains why many of them support Zardari). PTI supporters can recognise these qualities in Imran Khan by examining his history of achievements throughout his life, ‘We are not makers of history, we are made by history’ – Martin Luther King; we learn from mistakes and from history. On the other hand we have other political leaders that have a history plagued with failures and not a hint of any achievements yet people choose them over Imran Khan. Unfortunately this is emotional PTI troll talk for the pseudo-intellectual bloggers and part-time journalists on English news websites, for them they see no logic behind intentions, will power and integrity.

Others say that just because he is successful from the past does not necessarily mean he will be successful in the future. This is true, there is no guarantee of success in life, but he without a doubt can do a better job than any other political leader for reasons explained above. After this you will get a few pseudo-intellectuals who will say just because Imran Khan is better than rest, isn’t a reason to vote him. These people are clearly deficient in logic so I ask them do you wish the best for Pakistan? If yes then why let criminals loot and destroy the nation when you have an alternate that can put a stop to it.

A few pseudo-intellectuals say that PTI is a cult and I will like to tell them that we don’t have blind and unconditional support for our party. In fact I myself criticise PTI when I feel it is going in the wrong direction, nevertheless we tolerate criticism from others too but we don’t accept accusations and bigotry. I admit there is a large element of hopelessness among us but PTI gave us a hope for a better future. The reason why we support Imran Khan is because of his ideology, policies and vision for developing a prosperous Pakistan. Imran Khan has always been consistent on his policies and that’s a major reason by we support him.  His views have been the same since day one on issues like ‘War on terror’, corruption, transparency, education reforms, the need to collect tax and many more. The party’s name in English is the Movement for Justice and Imran Khan was one of the first people to back an independent judiciary and has always advocated to uphold the supremacy of the law.

I have given enough valid reasons why we politically back Imran Khan which proves PTI isn’t a cult. Yes he does inspires us and we love & respect Imran Khan but that doesn’t mean PTI supporters follow him blindly as some ignorant ‘researchers’, bloggers and journalists think. I suggest they carry out their research properly and study PTI’s policies & history before coming up with pathetic articles titled such as ‘Why Imran Khan can’t bring change'. To those unknown moronic op-ed writers that try to make themselves relevant by attacking Imran Khan, you may get a temporary boost in popularity by causing a reaction amongst PTI supporters. But you were unknown before for a reason, bashing PTI may earn you some brownie points but it can't improve your writing skills or intelligence.

But I will let everyone know that it doesn’t matter if these pseudo-intellectuals keep bashing PTI and Imran Khan out of their blind hatred.  They can continue to attack us on twitter and English news websites while we go and struggle on the ground to change the fortunes of Pakistan. ‘First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win’ and PTI will win, it’s inevitable.
